Handful of berries
Rinse the apples and cucumber in cold water, then put them through your juicer together with the lemon. Transfer the juice to a blender and add in a handful of berries – you can use fresh or frozen, whichever you have to hand. At around 150 calories, it is both fruity and light! It is also a lovely bright autumnal colour.
Remember, you can also add avocado to your blender to make a more creamy and sustaining juice.
Although berries are small, each contains many vitamins and minerals, so a handful of berries every day or even a few times a week brings lots of health benefits. They are bursting with antioxidants, particularly vitamin C, so can help to keep your immune system in tip-top shape.
