Juice Recipe: Berry-tastic

A photograph of our berry tastic juice alongside fresh apples, berries and lemon.

We love this fruity juice, which you can serve at any time of the day or year. The berries bring both brightness in colour and a burst of flavour. Kids (in age and temperament) will love this juice!

Juice Recipe: Berry-tastic

2 apples
½ cucumber
2cm lemon
Handful of berries

Rinse the apples and cucumber in cold water, then put them through your juicer together with the lemon. Transfer the juice to a blender and add in a handful of berries – you can use fresh or frozen, whichever you have to hand. At around 150 calories, it is both fruity and light! It is also a lovely bright autumnal colour.

Remember, you can also add avocado to your blender to make a more creamy and sustaining juice.

Although berries are small, each contains many vitamins and minerals, so a handful of berries every day or even a few times a week brings lots of health benefits. They are bursting with antioxidants, particularly vitamin C, so can help to keep your immune system in tip-top shape. They are also great for helping you to feel full – ideal if you want to lose or maintain a healthy weight. Happy juicing!
