Now that summer is here in Spain, and it´s getting warmer, we sometimes like to use salad ingredients in a juice, rather than eating it from a plate!
Below is our recipe for one of our more savoury juices, Salad Days. The carrots give this juice its natural sweetness. Simply rinse the ingredients in cold water, take the top off the carrots and place all of the ingredients in your juicer.
Juice Recipe: Salad Days
1 pepino (Spanish cucumber, or ½ normal salad cucumber)
1 large tomato
1 stick celery
2cm slice lemon
This juice has only 144 calories, and really is salad in a juice! Add avocado to boost the super nutrient value.
