We are delighted to have published our new cookbook: Souping for health: 40 plant-based (vegan) and low salt recipes from Lisa Brant, La Crisalida Retreats.

Soup is served at the retreat in the cooler months and is a popular part of our menu. After many requests, I am delighted to share 40 of our plant-based (vegan) soups for you to make at home.

The 75-page e-book includes chapters on:

  • Soup making staples – including how to make a great homemade vegetable stock (2 methods), and items to add to your store-cupboard to make soup making simple.

Lisa has been working in the field of health for over twenty years, first as an epidemiologist and now following a more alternative route! She is a therapeutic hatha and yin yoga teacher and also teaches mindfulness meditation. Lisa is a nutritionist so designs all our menus, as well as running the retreats. She is also qualified in NLP and hypnosis. Over the years Lisa has overcome her own health challenges with severe endometriosis and is happy to share her story.
